Review: Flashfire by Deborah Cooke

Jan 15, 2012

Flying low on the radar is what master illusionist, Lorenzo, does with his dragon shifting ability, also known as the PYR. Though flamboyant with his magic show, Lorenzo has planned one last illusion that will take him from PYR senses and their enemies alike. He thinks he has every eye dotted and tee crossed. When his firestorm comes upon him, a time for him to procreate with his destined mate, Lorenzo is not prepared for the beautiful Cassie Redmond. Though he sates his firestorm, Lorenzo cannot seem to stay away from Cassie. Slayers and PYR alike descend upon the Las Vegas site for Lorenzo's last big hurrah...will he and Cassie find a chance for a HEA? Or will they be destined to fail with all the outside influences coming at them from many different and unexpected directions?
I am soooo in love with Deborah Cooke's PYR tales. Zoe Sorensson's books set in the YA genre are riveting, as she is the next and only female PYR. If you want to fly with dragons and fall in love with warrior PYR...Jump on the wagon with those of us who love this wonderful series...Looking forward to "Ember's Kiss" coming in Oct. 2012.

  1. Sounds like a great read. I think I will add it too the list!

  2. I really want to read this series. I bought her YA spin off Flying Blind not realizing there was more to the story.

I just love hearing what you have to say. Drop me a few lines. 8-D
