This week's question comes from Alex @ Geek on the Brink:
What do you consider the most important in a story: the plot or the characters?
My Answer: Great Character + Great Plot = Great Story
There can't be a story without an imaginative plot and great character.
It has to be a balance of both things.
It has to be a balance of both things.
The characters speak to us, but the plot takes us to worlds only seen in dreams.
I agree! But if forced to choose, I pick plot because a good story will keep me reading until the end. I'm a new follower!

Happy Friday Dana! Your answer is so true, though I can usually still get into an ok story if there are fabulous characters. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Dana ^^
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by @ Deranged Book Lovers. I agree with Aimee, if I have to pick I would pick plot. But of course awesome book has good plot and interesting characters!
This might be the best Book Blogger Hop question I've seen to date.
ReplyDeleteSo what's the answer? Plot! Hop over to my blog and let me tell you how a good plot rescued bad characters from bad book oblivion.

Hi Dana, thanks for visiting my blog :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so right! I'm too lazy to be a spygirl, but in books, with an amazing plot, I can, haha :D
Doing a late hop back from the Friday hops. I was out of town this weekend and busier than I expected to be - hence the lack of Internet time. Hope you had a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely agree with character and plot.
