Bomb Shelter Friday Follow

Apr 29, 2011

This week's feature is from

Marla @ Starting the Next Chapter

Q. Keeping with the dystopian and apocalypse theme that seems to be running rampant on parajunkee.com, I have one very hard question for you: If you were stocking your bomb shelter, what books would you HAVE to include if you only had space for ten?

My Top Ten
(As of today these are my picks.   I am a fickle creature, it could change!)

~  The Bible
~ If Tomorrow Never Comes by Sidney Sheldon
~ Fever Series by Karen Moning (5)
~  MOONLIGHT Series by Nancy Gideon (3)

  1. Awww. Thanks! And you're most welcome. I'm terrible to avoid posts about books I haven't read, since I avoid spoilers like the plague. But when I see someone talking about a book I'm finished with, I try to check out the review to compare notes! --I totally agree with the Fever books for your island choices. It's a great series that stands up to re-reads. :) Jen at Red Hot Books

  2. That's it! I'm buying the Fever series! Everybody loves it and I need to know why! It seems like today's Hop was sponsored by Karen Marie Moning or something!

  3. I've had the Fever series on my list for quite a while. Maybe I should get to it sooner.

  5. I very much dislike this question! As a bibliophile and avid reader I protest this question! :)

Yet of course I still answered it. It's just that 10 books is soooooooo not enough to get me through the hardship. I might have been able to survive with 10 series though! :)

  6. As much as I love some series of books, the Cal Leandros series comes to mind, I would want more variety (although I did choose a trilogy in my 10) if I had only 10 books. It's nice to see a list without Harry Potter though! :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier...much appreciated.

  7. You seem to have some great choices! I feel so bad, because I actually never thought of Fever series or the Bible. But of course I'd want that as well!

  12. Hello! New Follower!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I've noticed that people are picking series instead of stand alone titles for their choices. You are the first one that I've seen to include the Bible.
    ~Happy Reading!~
