She decides she has three things to do before she can die. Find out who killed her beloved grandmother, teach her BFF the finer points of spellcasting before she blows up the world, and figure out how serious her relationship with the Adonis living in her basement really is. If it’s heading in the direction she’s hoping for, she can die happy. Though, admittedly, she’d rather not. Die. Happy or otherwise.

None of that will matter, however, if she can’t figure out how to foil the supernatural assassin who’s been sent for her. Until then, it’s business—and hopefully romance—as usual. Now if she can only figure out how to tame a lacuna wolf.

Beguiled is another wonderful story in the Betwixt and Between series!  Jones delivers her signature laughs and right out, "Didn't see that coming!" throughout the story.  The sexy, Roane is back and better than ever. Defiance finally comes to grips with her magic and works out her relationship issues with the tasty shifter. Beguiled has just the right amount of mystery and steaminess. I am thrilled that Annette will have her own story in the next book.

Lizzie Grace is wonderful!!! I've become so vested in these characters. You never know what Arthur has in store for her characters. This time around she sends us in search of a frightful creature with mysterious powers that has left Lizzie and her crew perplexed. Lizzie and the Belle will finally come face to face with their tortured past. Deadly Vows is packed with revelations and strong undercurrents of what's to come. The sexy Aidan has me at my wit's end. Will he ever tell Lizzie how he feels! The Lizzie Grace series is a sensational series filled with magic and mystery. Deadly Vows is a fantastic addition to the series and a must-read! Wild Hunger by Chloe Neill holds a tantalizing appeal. This spin off of the Chicagoland Vampires grabs your interest from the very beginning. Beware if you haven't read the Chicagoland Vampires there may be some spoilers. Neill does a wonderful job of giving readers a glimpse of the past while setting the stage for this new series. Elisa is all sorts of badass. As the only born vampire in existence, she lived in Paris for a time to escape notoriety and a few of her own demons. Once back home, Elisa faces her past and all the reasons she loves her home. When powerful feuds threaten the lives of her family and home, Elisa steps in to help and face her fears. What Elisa never expected was the discovery of feelings for Connor, the future Apex. I enjoyed this paranormal. I can't wait to see Connor and Elisa's relationship evolve.
