The Heiress and the Hothead by Sabrina Jeffries is not what I had expected. This short holiday story had all the right elements but they danced around each other and didn't quite make the story enjoyable for me. It could have been that Amanda was too high strong or that Cory just wasn't the right one for her. I felt it was a bit rushed, and the romantic chemistry between the two just didn't gel. I enjoy the majority of Sabrina Jeffries and will continue to read her work.
