This is a review for Sophie Jordan’s IN A STRANGER’S BED. I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.
In a Stranger’s Bed is a re-telling/twist on the Goldilocks fairy tale and it’s a verra HOT tale! When Thea is accidentally left in the Highlands in Scotland by her tour bus in the freezing cold and pouring rain, she ventures off on foot in search of shelter. With a scare of hypothermia fast approaching, she is relieved to find a lone house on her trek with smoke coming out the chimney. But what’s a woman to do when no one answers the door? Desperate times call for desperate measures…
When a surly Hot Scot comes home and finds this stranger in his house, he isn’t happy of course. But things change when Thea is stranded for the night due to the storm.
This may have been a quick read, but Sophie packed some hot, steamy scenes into it and more. I was into the story from start to finish. These two characters had great chemistry and you knew one night wasn’t going to be enough for these two.
I'm very much looking forward to reading the rest of the stories in this anthology!
