The Bad Luck Bride by Janna MacGregor is a delightful surprise. Claire's curse gave this book such a unique storyline. Claire and Alex are perfect together in this journey of love. MacGregor's characters are robust and bold, giving authenticity to the story. I loved Alex from the very beginning and thought his plan of revenge an excellent manner to begin the story. I kind of wish that the story had more of a darker side in regards to Lord Paul. It think the story would have been even more intense with that element thrown in. This historical romance is keeper. MacGregor writes with an amazing charm that captivates the reader. I can't wait to read more in the Cavensham Heiresses series.
