Fantastic mystery with chilling twists and turns! The Awakening by Amanda Stevens will surprise you as she is able to create an eerie atmosphere with plenty of ghostly elements. John and Amelia's exchanges have a palpable intensity as they tip toe around their relationship and the strange spectral encounters. Stevens' ability to drive the story in directions that are unexpected and gritty make this book a winner. I look forward to reading more!
