Feb 1, 2016

The first in the Alpha Ops novella series that features an alpha Navy SEAL who meets his match in a buttoned-up firecracker who is hiding a passionate side.

Logistics director Rose Powell agreed to chaperon her grandmother on a guided tour of Roman ruins on one condition: her brother Jack would come with her. But when Jack backs out, his best friend and fellow SEAL Keenan Parker takes his place. The Seal's Secret Lover delivers one yummy Navy Seal! Rose and Keenan deliver bedroom steamy quite nicely in this short story.  Keenan's reasons for not returning home soon surface as his feelings for Rose present themselves.  I wish the story had been longer and an element of danger presented. Although it wasn't the Navy Seal novella I had hoped for, it holds promise for future stories yet to be told in the series.
