I gave this book a
Defiant In the Viking's Bed by Joanna Fulford was a great historical read. Fulford delivered a viking's story rich in culture and passion. Leif is a strong viking who desires Astrid from the first meeting. Fueds and war surround this story. Deception is strong and threatens to tear these two lovers away from each other. I thought it was an intriguing read but became frustrated with Leif. I felt as if he made the wrong decisions over and over again and was unfair to Astrid. I plan to pick up another of Fulford's viking stories in the future.
