The Mad Earl's Wife by Loretta Chase was a breath of fresh air. Chase draws a picture of a tortured soul taken to task by a vibrant, intelligent woman.  The Earl will captivate you with his heated yellow gaze and leave you breathless with his telling actions.  Gwendolyn tells the tale of woman trapped in a man's world, yet   audaciousness enough to make her dreams a reality by using the sanctity of  marriage as her wild card.  I enjoyed this story so much., The Mad Earl's Wife is a passionate and intelligent read!
