Book 3
Lords of Deliverance
They are here. They ride. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Thanatos, the most deadly Horseman of the Apocalypse, has endured thousands of years of celibacy to prevent the end of days. But just one night with the wickedly sexy Aegis Guardian, Regan Matthews, shatters centuries of resolve. Yet their passion comes with a price. And Thanatos must face a truth more terrifying than an apocalypse-he's about to become a father.
Demon-slayer Regan Matthews never imagined herself the maternal type, but with the fate of the world hanging in the balance she had no choice but to seduce Thanatos and bear his child. Now, as the final battle draws closer and his rage at being betrayed is overshadowed by an undeniable passion for the mother of his child, Thanatos has a life-shattering realization: To save the world, he must sacrifice the only thing he's ever wanted-a family.
Cindy's Review:
In Larissa's previous book "Immortal Rider" we saw a side story of Regan, an Aegi warrior, seducing the sexually untouched Horseman Thanatos or his Horseman of the Apocalypse name-Death. In our present story, Thanatos has been kept sedated by his brother and sister so that he would contain his rage against Regan, because she is now pregnant with Than's child. It has been foretold that the coming of this child would end the wrath of Pestilence from starting the Apocalypse. Than wakes from his sleep early and promptly kidnaps Regan and threatens her with sexual torture for all he's lost. While in Than's fortress many different enemies want Regan, her unborn child and Thanatos dead. Saving her life Than learns that Regan has a calming influence upon his rage.
Can love grow after a very bad start? Will the Apocalypse happen? Or merely be delayed? These and many other questions will be answered in this 3rd look into the 4 Horseman of the Apocalypse: "The Lords of Deliverance". Will the stories continue? YES! In the magnificent Larissa Ione's 4th look with November's release of "Rogue Rider".
