Review: Alien in the Family by Gini Koch

May 19, 2012

Book 3
Alien Series
Katherine "Kitty" Kat

Super-Being Exterminator Kitty Katt and the Alpha Centaurian she loves, Jeff Martini, should be finalizing their wedding plans. But that was before she discovers Jeff is in line to become Emperor back on his home world. Kitty knows she is everything a royal family wouldn't approve of, and is bracing herself for the worst. As it turns out, the royal family is just the beginning. Especially when extraterrestrial Amazonian terrorists are determined to start and end Kitty and Jeff's nuptial festivities with a bang.

I gave this book a 5

Alien in the Family is what superb organized chaos looks like!   Gini Koch just doesn't let up in this book, you feel as if you're going a hundred miles a minute!  Kitty and Jeff are getting ready to tie the knot and they want everything to be just right.  The guest list reads like an intergalactical who's who with a few wedding crashers thrown in just to get the mixology right.  Kitty just gets better with each book, and Jeff couldn't be any yummier.  Koch doesn't throw any punches, she doesn't skimp on the details, each one is lovingly placed in this wedding palooza.

  1. Authors seem to have some influence not noticed instantly. A glasses store commercial with the 'naughty librarian' is a subtle sign of more reading done by a naughty librarian as a baited hook to buy glasses. The books that may have caused naughtiness were Gini's Alien series which could make many naughty in mind or look or both. All the books are good and I rate 5 just for making me laugh almost all the way through Alien in the Family.
