ARC Review: The Wolf Who Loved Me by Lydia Dare

Apr 20, 2012

Book 1

Regency England Has Gone to the Wolves!

Lady Madeline Hayburn Has Money Problems...

Specifically, she has so much of it that she's dogged by fortune hunters, including her bewilderingly attractive, penniless neighbor, with his wild nature and uncouth manners...

Weston Hadley Has An Identity Crisis...

Specifically, he's just turned into a wolf while Madeline was watching. Now it's up to the regal lady to tame the wild beast...if she can...

I gave this book a 3

There is nothing sexier than a werewolf's animalistic attraction to a woman. The Wolf Who Loved Me by Lydia Dare pours us a glass of tall dark and handsome an then some. Throughout the entire book there is a sense of the unknown and reader will find themselves turning pages in order to feed the need Lydia Dare has created. The characters come alive on the pages and take us on their journey. I wish there had been more romance between our two main characters. Madeline was just a brat, if it wasn't for our boy, Hadley, I would not have liked this book. I look forward to book two, Wolfishly Yours, coming soon.

*One of my favorite covers this year.
