Review: Tall, Dark, and Wolfish by Lydia Dare

Aug 27, 2010

This is the second book in the Westfield series by Lydia Dare.

Elspeth Campbell has learned that she will have a visitor. It has been foretold that the one with the mark of the beast will come for her. Her coven sisters fear for her. Who will be coming to take her away from her coven? Could it be the father she never knew?

Lord Benjamin Westfield is in need of a witch to help cure his beast. He can no longer change into his beast. His only hope is a witch from the north. Unless she can help him, he will never be whole again.

Elspeth and Benjamin will find the missing pieces of their soul in each others arms. Elspeth’s healing arms will bring comfort to the beast that is trapped.

Will Benjamin destroy the coven? Will what has been foretold come to pass? Can the beast be cured?

I give this book a 3/5.

Tall, Dark and Wolfish

Favorite Quote: "I do care about you. I love you, Elspeth Westfield. And I was a fool not to realize it sooner. I'll spend the rest of my life trying to make that up to you." (Benjamin)

I enjoyed this book, it’s always wonderful to have your historical peppered with a little lycan love.
