Nancy Gideon has done it again, with her second book
in the Moonlight Series—Chased by Moonlight.
They’re back! The mouth-watering Max and the lovely Charlotte have returned, their relationship is growing, and their connection is undeniable.
Max Savoie has gone from being a mob boss’s bodyguard to now becoming the top dog of the New Orleans mob scene. He will give it all away if that’s what it takes to keep Charlotte in his life.
Charlotte Caissie is a sassy experienced New Orleans detective who has had to walk a fine line when it comes to her relationship with Max. She will stop at nothing to keep Max safe and out of harms way.
New alliances have been made, and Max is by far the strongest of them all. Max has always longed to be part of a family and be wanted, finally he has everything he needs with Charlotte. There’s someone new in town, and he is about to tell Max everything he knows about the shifters and the past. Can Max trust him? Will he be able to keep Charlotte safe? Max and Charlotte will stand together to protect each other and to find the truth. Many questions will be answered in Chased by Moonlight.
This is the second book in her paranormal romance set in the New Orleans. It is a great, new, exciting series!

Favorite Quote (Charlotte): “You’re mine, Savoie. Every piece of you is mine. Every breath you take is mine. And I want you madly.”

What a mighty fine line a police detective must have to walk to be in love with a mob member. There are so many series I need to read but since this one seems to be only three deep so far I might start with this one. Your review makes it sound like the relationship is more important than the job. I love the favorite quote.
