Lydia Dare’s series Westfield Hall is a super historical with a paranormal twist.
Lily Rutledge is overwhelmed by the changes in her nephew, Oliver. She knows that the only person that can help her is Oliver’s godfather, the Duke of Blackmoor. She now has to travel to Westfield Hall to convince him he has been lacking in his duties to Oliver.
Simon, the Duke of Blackmoor, is none to pleased with the lovely Lily Rutledge. Why has she come to bother him at this precise time of the month. Not even a locked door can make her see reason. The beast is close to the surface, and Simon fears for Lily’s safety.
The only course of action is to bring Oliver to live at Westfield Hall. There is only one small problem, the young Oliver will not unless his Aunt Lily is allowed to reside there as well.
Having Lily under his roof, will cause Simons more problems than he accounted for. He might not want Lily there, but the beast is has other ideas. The beast will keep her.
